The insane load bearing capabilities of these machines have even since been improved - and are now looming around the city & outer suburb areas. The WarKrane04s are mobile, and are able to autonomously arrange themselves into new construction site formations to expand our depot grounds / mining operations.

Metal Newt (Model.B)
The Metal Newt series are some of our best multipurpose construction units, forged from a putrid brown liquid metal. The default model comes with modular tetrapod legs that can be swapped out for anything from tank-like treads to suspended wheel rigging. Every part is modular and can be switched around thanks to the NeuroJoin ball-joint system. Some operators opt for powerful shovels or jackhammers in replacement of it’s default sawblade - some even go as far as removing the legs and fixing it to the base of a crane.
Do not tamper with the face-plate or attempt to deconstruct the War Krane beyond the NeuroJoin ball-joint system. We would like to reiterate that there is nothing inside. It is a hollow, mouthbreathing husk.

This model rose to notoriety during the Algyum conflict as a highly-modded unit of them famously decapitated the Algyum itself. The Metal Newt (Model.A) is made from the skrap metal & iron artefacts confiscated from rogue beach drifters who thought they could help themselves to the precious materials that washed up on the shores last year.
